Because individual healing varies, the touch-up is the time to make measured changes that reflect the healed result rather than the fresh, swollen appearance immediately after the original service.
How skin healing affects results
During the first weeks after the initial procedure, surface pigment and temporary swelling change the look of brows. As the skin heals, some pigment may soften or flake and the true color becomes visible only after this process. The eight-week visit evaluates the healed pigment and identifies where subtle reinforcement is needed.
